Nailong or Nailoong is the main character in the cartoon series NAILONG and its derivative works.

Character Profile

Nailong is a young dragon from another planet, featuring a round, large head and a chubby body—earless and entirely yellow. Its eyes are big and expressive, with a wide range of adorable, playful expressions. It possesses skills like breathing fire, changing colors, and altering its size. Despite its weight-loss aspirations, it struggles to resist snacks, making it a true little foodie.

Though Nailong doesn't wear traditional clothing, it occasionally accessorizes with items like scarves or hats to complement its look for story needs or festive occasions.

As a lovably clumsy yet clever dragon, Nailong possesses an innocent childlike spirit and an optimistic outlook. Its pure-hearted nature brightens those around it.

Where is Nailong from?

Nailong was born in China in 2020. Its design draws inspiration from creator Xie Cheng'en's childhood fascination with dragons. During the creative process, Xie infused his youthful aspirations and dreams about the dragon world into the character. Through meticulous design, Nailong was shaped into an adorably clumsy alien baby dragon.
